Statement of Purpose
All children will have the opportunity to develop skills through hands on activities that address the needs of the whole child (social, emotional, physical and intellectual).
The program reflects on the belief that children need a balance of child to child and teacher to child directed activities each day. The structure and level of learning activities will be geared to the average developmental level of the group. Themes are used to introduce information and learning takes place as the child explores through play and structured activities.
Qualifications to Enroll
Once a child turns three (3), they are eligible to participate in the program. Residents of Upper Pittsgrove School District will have first preference.
The preschool program runs Monday through Friday in the afternoon in addition to our preschool disabled integrated program. This offers the children of our community the opportunity to share their skills with children with a variety of disabilities.
Children must be toilet trained to qualify. This means being able to complete ALL bathroom needs themselves.
New students must turn in the attached physical form and immunization record completed and signed by a doctor to the School Nurse before the child may start school. Returning students must turn in the completed Health Update form.
Regular Class Schedule
- Monday through Friday from 12:35 p.m. to 3:20 p.m.
